New Hampshire Councilwoman Running For State Senate : Cell Tower Awareness

New Hampshire Councilwoman Raising Awareness in Cell Towers is Running For State Senate

Passing on a message from Denise Ricciardi, a brave elected official in New Hampshire se to be a state Senator

Dear Friends,

For those of you that don’t know me my name is Denise Ricciardi.
My story began several years ago when a proposed cell phone tower was going
to be built near our elementary school in a family neighborhood in my town.
When I learned of this proposal, I did my research and studied the potential
health effects that this tower could have on the children. I don’t have to tell you
that what I learned was appalling.
So began a huge battle that lasted several years. I fought against the town that I
live in who wanted the tower and I fought against Crown Castle Verizon. I fought
this tower at the local level by educating and recruiting other members of the
community to join me in my efforts against placing this tower near our school.
Our efforts were succeeding and they knew it. That’s when this issue landed in
Federal court.
The attorney fees to fight this in Federal court were estimated to cost me over
$70,000. I couldn’t afford to pay those fees, but I wasn’t about to give up. I spent
time in the library learning about the law and the Federal court process that was
about to begin. I decided to file a motion to intervene and represent myself in
Federal court against Verizon.
This was David vs. Goliath – actually it was David vs a whole legal team of
Goliaths and they had home court advantage.
The opposing attorneys objected to my motion, but the judge granted it to me.
The judge looked at me and she said that I would learn more than a first-year
law student by going through this process. She also told me that I would have to
write and file all of my own documents, and follow all of the same rules of
Federal court that the opposing lawyers had to follow.
Every week I drove to the courthouse, I reviewed the logbook of motions and
painstakingly researched for examples in court precedence and wrote my own
court documents to fight them. They tried to wear me down, but they didn’t
know me. I never back down, I am tenacious. I started issuing subpoenas, I hired
a stenographer and I wrote 32 interrogatories for the town and Crown Castle
Verizon. It was at that point the opposing attorney admitted that he never
thought that I would get as far as I had, and they withdrew their plans – I won.
People in other communities throughout New Hampshire that were facing the
same type of situation started calling me asking for help. Then calls started
coming in from other parts of the country. Throughout this process I learned
more and more about 5G and its adverse effects on our health and privacy. This
led me to fly to Washington where I met with various members of Congress and
spoke at a rally on the steps of the US Supreme Court.
Shortly after, I was recruited to run for Town Council in my community - the
same community that fought against me on that tower. I won and now serve as
the Vice Chair of the Town Council. I have since been appointed to a legislative
5G health study commission by our Governor where we evaluate the health
hazards of 5G.
I decided to run for the State Senate here in New Hampshire where I can be a
bigger, louder voice on the issues facing us regarding wireless radiation and the
rollout of 5G.
I am just as committed to winning this race, as I was committed to winning my
race for Town Council, and committed to fighting that cell tower being built near
that school. I have the support of my party’s leadership, Senate leaders, and the
endorsement of our Governor. Now I need you!
I know I can win this seat, but I will need your help to do it. Campaigns are
expensive. I have a great team, and a great message, but I need the resources
to reach out to as many voters as possible and that is why I am asking for your
help today.
Would you consider making a donation to my campaign? Your
donation of $100, $250 or $500 will be critical in making sure I have the resources
to spread my message throughout my district.

I am asking for support from across the country from all of you so I can win this
seat and be a voice for all of us. We have all been working tirelessly for years on
these issues this is just another step in the right direction.
Thank you for your consideration.
Best in health,
Denise Ricciardi
